The flag of Australia is a horizontal bicolor with a proportion of 1:2. The top section is composed of a dark blue background which has five white stars arranged in a large star known as the Commonwealth Star. The bottom master of the flag is composed of a red background.

The "five white stars" are actually there, you just can't see them because they are in the large Commonwealth star.
