The flag of Zimbabwe has an aspect ratio of 1:2. It consists of seven horizontal stripes and a white isosceles triangle on the hoist side. The stripes are arranged in the following order from top to bottom: green, yellow, red, black, red, yellow, and green. Each stripe has equal width.

The white triangle's base runs along the entire height of the flag, and its apex meets the edge of the first vertical quarter of the flag. Inside the triangle, there is a red five-pointed star with a yellow Zimbabwe Bird superimposed on it.
