The flag of Nicaragua consists of three horizontal stripes with a ratio of 3:5. The top and bottom stripes are blue (#0B60A9) and the middle stripe is white (#FFFFFF). In the center of the white stripe, there is the country's coat of arms which measures two-fifths the height of the central stripe. The coat of arms is circular and features an equilateral triangle with a rainbow inside it, a depiction of a Phrygian cap, and five volcanoes. The official aspect ratio of the flag is 3:5.
