Description
The flag of Brazil is a rectangular shape with a ratio of 10:7 between its length and width. It features a green field with a large yellow diamond in the center, inside of which is a blue circle with 27 white, five-pointed stars arranged in the pattern of the night sky over Rio de Janeiro on November 15, 1889, the date when the Brazilian Republic was proclaimed. The yellow diamond has a width of 2/5 of the flag's total width and a height of 1/2 of the flag's total height. The green and yellow colors are defined as Pantone 348 C and Pantone 116 C respectively.
