Description
The flag of Sint Maarten consists of a blue, white, and red background divided diagonally from the lower hoist side to the upper fly side. The blue section represents the sky and sea, while the white stands for peace and unity. The red symbolizes courage, vitality, and the friendliness of the people.
The flag has an aspect ratio of 2:3 (height to width). The diagonal line dividing the flag starts at the bottom left corner and finishes at the upper right corner, with a slope of approximately 63 degrees.
