The flag of Sudan consists of three equal horizontal stripes, where the top and bottom stripes are colored red (#E31C1C) and the middle stripe is colored black (#000000). In the center of the black stripe, there is a white triangle pointing towards the hoist side. The ratio of the height to the width of the flag is 1:2. The white triangle has base and height measurements of 1/6th of the hoist side length.
