The flag of Åland Islands has a Scandinavian cross design with yellow cross on a red background. The aspect ratio is 17:26, and the width of each arm of the cross is 1/5 of the flag's height. The geometric center of the cross is shifted towards the hoist side, at a distance of 2/15 of the flag's length from the hoist. The color codes for the flag are as follows:
