The flag of Georgia is a rectangular flag with a width to length ratio of 2 to 3. It consists of two horizontal stripes - a white stripe on top and a red stripe on the bottom, both with a thickness of one-third of the total height of the flag. In the centre of the flag, a small rectangle is placed, with a width to length ratio of 7 to 6 and a thickness of one-fourth of the total height of the flag. This rectangle is coloured in a dark shade of blue and contains a white St George's Cross.
