The flag of Laos has a horizontal triband design with an aspect ratio of 2:3. The top and bottom stripes are red (#CE1126) and have equal width, each occupying 1/4 of the flag's height. The middle stripe is blue (#002868) and is twice as wide as the red stripes, occupying 1/2 of the flag's height. Centered within the blue stripe is a white circle with a diameter equal to 4/5 of the blue stripe's height.
